I don't know how to put this more diplomatically, but I'm sure a lot of married couples, especially those who have been together and faithful for 10+ years, start to lose that initial fire/magic/spark they had where they first got together and couldn't keep their clothes on at all. Any thoughts on re-igniting that spark with someone you've been with 10, 12, 14 years? |

Never stop the game. Where do your particular troubles lay? |

That's an excellent and CONSTRUCTIVE question (I expected to get flamed for asking the question I asked so, so far so good - I'm impressed). Well for one thing we're now parents with busy schedules. When it was just the two of us we could hop in bed whenever we wanted, now we have more responsibilities. Often when we finally have a few minutes alone we're exhausted. The thing is though, other than that it's just not anything specific - I just don't feel the same every-time-I-see-you-I-want-to-drag-you-into-bed that I felt 12 years ago, the same raw animal passion, the same I can't wait to get home yada yada yada. We still do it, don't get me wrong, but now it feels more like letting off a little steam than filling the sky with loud fireworks. I wish I could give you more actionable information than that but I just can't put it into better words. |

Then Man up... I'm sure a good romp is worth the two extra cups of coffee the next day?Trust me Bro she wants the fireworks back just as badly as you, possibly even more so... news-flash-women-want-sex-vt181894.html Make time. Make it 'seem' spontaneous if possible, just make the time. Then I'm sure you both have new fangled smart phones. Flirt with her during the day, get her amped up, make her want you.... One way to start this is (I wouldn't recommend this to use on a woman your trying to pick up. ever) Cheesy pick up lines, it lets her know she still interests you sexually. " I've been thinking about your legs all day, and I've just managed to figure out what's wrong with them...they're not wrapped round my neck." Tell her all the dirty things you want to do to her ...later. Grab her around the waist on Saturday afternoon while she's vacuuming and your watching the golf channel, bend her over the arm of the sofa and pound the girls ass flat! Regular exercise. Bananas. Sweet potatoes. Oysters. Okra. Those should spark things up. Try HIIT if you're pressed for time. |

Be the man you were when she fell in love with you. Good example: "Stupid, Crazy Love" shows a story about a man that lost his spark, had his wife leave him, and the first half of the movie he had to get his "mancard" back. Be ambitious, be determined, be a MAN. Once you grow complacent, the attraction that was once there will begin to dwindle Don't be satisfied, be Insatiable. |

I really appreciate the constructive responses everyone, thank you! Out of curiosity, to those who have their games tuned to the point where they're consistently sleeping with 2 or 3 new women per week, how often do you meet one who truly stands out above the crowd to the point where you like her so much (whether it be sexually, personalitywise, compatibility or a combination thereof) you temporarily forget about all the other numbers on your phone and just want to be with her? When that does happen, how does the challenge of getting the 2nd, 5th, 10th, or even 100th date compare with the challenge of getting the first? |

Get in better shape physically, improve your looks by couple of points. If you lead by example she most likely follow... This is number 1...Any thoughts on re-igniting that spark with someone you've been with 10, 12, 14 years? Number 2.- Dudes become betazized in relationships and comfortable... Become a masculine, alpha dude again... number 3.- Buy her toys, start with the pocket rocket... 4.- watch porn together... 5.- go to swingclubs togehter. 6.- strip clubs together... All this process is done little by little, make sure you have a fun night at least once a week... Make sure you are doing your own separate activities, for example, i go clubbing, do capoeira, do gymnastic, hit the gym... my gf, likes the beach, pool, crochet etc... I am trying to get her to engage in more shit... http://www.theskillsmethod.com/ultimate ... yledesign/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm2aKGI4fWM |

Just as a brief update, things have definitely gotten better since I made this post, and a similar post in the Relationships section. There was one other thing that I didn't admit right away, for whatever reason (shame, not wanting to get too personal or whatever - I was inspired by another recent thread "sex question" to not be so afraid). For about the first 2 or 3 years we were together, my wife could reliably cum when she was on top (but not from any other position). After that, for whatever reason "he" stopped staying hard while she was on top. I'd be all ready to pound nails, she'd climb on, and after about 10 seconds, soft as a marshmallow. I could still make her cum with oral sex (with almost 100% consistency, and even today I almost never fail). Is a woman's orgasm more pleasurable and/or intense when it's penis-induced vs. when it's tongue-induced? If so, is it possible that that's part of the reason she's lost a little bit of interest? |
