So after a while of texting I realized I sorta become nervous when texting. Here's why, I start thinking. I think if I say one wrong thing, make the wrong kind of joke (whatever) she'll think I'm boring, awkward and stop replying. And this happen quite a lot in the past so once I think I can loose her at any second I become stressed a scant think. If I had a proven routine and understood WHAT I had to say it'd be really helpful. Starting a convo it's a pure stranger is difficult for me. I don't want to come across as average. I don't know how to get her to talk more and for me to build a great connection with her. Know what I mean? |

Don't have fluff conversations over text. When you text her, it should have the purpose behind it of wanting to see her again. Get her to meet up with you and talk then. |

I agree with you Majikan. I see so many guys keep exchanging text with women without actually asking her out. The text should be solely use to ask her out, nothing more. If you meet her through cold approach, it will be better if you ask her out face-to-face and only use texting to confirm the date. Hope this help, Naughty Napoleon |

Over texting actually kills attraction and create a lot of flakey dates. In fact, I don't text anymore, I go straight to the phone. Makes life easier. |

I get a bit nervous with texting too. Its a stupid, but neccesary form of communication. Majikal is right only use text to set something up I learned the hard way not to have fluff convos over text. |

Thanks for your response, everyone! Allow to explain a bit more. Say if I met the girl and we already texted and talked a bit, Yeah, texting is easy cause she gets me and knows my humor and we have things to talk about. Then I chat for 5 mind and set up the date. Done. The part of texting I have trouble with is say, I just got her number or we chatted from online game. It's THIS area I struggle with the first impression and building a convo from scratch. I always finish I with calling them that night. |
