So I was in a sporting goods store (DICK'S) checking out some replica jerseys. I noticed a cute brunette walk past me to my left, and I tried to surreptitiously check her out while she passed. About 10 minutes later, I hear someone ask: "hey, are you interested in buying a jersey?" I turn around, and it is the brunette who is standing facing me, at the outer edge of the section I am in, about 10 feet behind me. I said that I was merely looking at the jerseys, and she says, "Well I just wanted to let you know that The Sports Authority is having a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale. I just came from there." I just gave her a quick thank you and then walked away before she had a chance to walk away from me.

So, what do you guys think? Was it a gambit to get me to talk to her, or was she merely being a courteous shopper engaging in a random act of kindness by telling a fellow shopper about a sale she had just seen? As always, your BRUTALLY HONEST thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

But you didn't do anything with the situation. You walked away. So it doesn't matter...

Majik, would it make a difference if I told you that she was standing about 10-12 feet behind me when she stopped to tell me about the jersey sale at the other store? I ask because I described what happened to my buddies, and they told me that she probably WASN'T flirting with me, since she walked 10-12 feet behind/past me before she said anything. They said that if she HAD been flirting, she would have walked up behind me to within a few feet (pretending to look at something in the area) and then would have said something to me about the sale. They said that the fact that she was standing so far away is a sign she was just trying to be helpful.

IN respons eto ur question, I didn't do anything about it because I didn't want to be rejected.

okay Majikal, I will answer your question, but can you pleae respond to this first:

It doesn't matter how fucking far away she is standing. Stop over thinking things.

Listen... all you had to do, is when she said that, move in closer. And just see whats up.

She gave you a CHANCE to hit on her. It doesn't mean she wanted to fuck you. It means she was MAYBE slightly attracted to you OR maybe she was just being friendly....

But see, the thing is, you'll never KNOW. You could have found out if you tried.

I really can't answer that question for you of "whether or not she is attracted to you" because you didn't try.... Because you we're afraid of getting rejected.

So, again... why are you afraid of getting rejected?
