Hey, guys! Same girl from this post wierd-date-kino-went-wrong-need-help-vt180185.html diferent question. Short story, she has a thing for uniforms. So far she dated three cops and a marine, all relationships fell apart very quick and ended bad. I've been trying to point out that people with uniforms all think alike and, in consequence, they will all treat her the same way and that she is just persisting in a mistake, but without being obvious about it. For exemple, once upon a time we were hanging out in the mall and I asked for her help to pick a new perfume. When we were in the store, we tried a sample, she mentioned almost all cops use that perfume and wondered why is that. I said something like "they all recieve the same training, so they all think in a similar way" and discarded the sample as "nice, but not my style". Last night a vendor thought we were a couple. When we were walking away she said "I'm not going to marry you, you're not a cop". How do I break that fetish with a very specific type? I am not a cop but I work on law enforcement (corporate security consultant with a degree on Intelligence Studies) and I sometimes do some security studies for the local law enforcement agency. That is in fact how we met, we were introduced by some of our mutual friends who are cops. I have been trying to use the "James Bond aproach" of I am not a cop, I am more educated, refined and with a higher salary, although we work for the same goal. Kinda like "I am not too far from your type, only I'm better" And by the way, I am not going to the police academy or joining the army. She is fucking hot, but not hot enough to make it worth being shot at Thanks. |

Stop trying to be something that you are not. (meaning James Bond) |

Either: a) You're friendzoned and this is just her excuse not to date you b) She's that nutty that she only wants to date a cop. If you haven't kissed her, it's a. |
