This girl that I briefly dated the friend of (non-seriously) has had like a crazy month, with graduating, going to Europe, getting hit by a car, all sorts of shit. Before all that, I had ran into her again at the mall and we had recognized each other, but thought the other didn't recognize, so we didn't talk. Anyway, now that she's back I decide to hit her up, mention how she had a crazy month, ask her when her life is going to be normal. She says, "Never" and then: She said, "I got rejected in the same week too. I was like shit come on it was going well" - should I read this as emotional tampon? Or is this a "plow forward" sign? My guess is plow forward because she's not really complaining, just making it evident she's available. |

Hey Pike, I see where you're going but saying " When is your life going to be normal " is implying that you believe her life is fucked up. And if you believe her life is fucked up, why on earth are you contacting her (Chick logic). That thread is destined to go down hill unless you turn it around. Get emotional back with her. P.S. Its not really her job to "notice you".. You're the man, you lead. |

I do not believe you have accurately read what I wrote. The craziness line wasn't about how fucked up she was, but about how her life had a lot of eventfulness to it lately. Graduation, birthday, and a trip to Europe aren't exactly, "bad". |

What it all boils down to is her responses.. "NEVER" - Would you say thats positive or negative? "I got rejected in the same week too. I was like shit come on it was going well" - Would you say thats positive or negative? I've never seen a man negative his way into a date/sex/relationship.. If you know a guy show me him. The trick is to get a girl on a positive loop. Get her exciting, happy, jealous, loving, friendly etc. etc. So my only point was; if that is her responses, it would be wise to turn the situation upside down; despite what the specifics are. |

Er, yes, "Never" was positive. It was her saying her life wasn't going to be dull and boring. Perhaps my writing isn't clear enough. |
