Post subject:  When she texts you first?

So guys this is sorta' a common issue that comes up; girls sometimes open me in text and just say Hey... I say hey.. And they'll not really have anything to say, waiting for me to say something - when their the ones that texted me lol. I understand, I'm cool with it - they just wanna' talk to me. I just want to know what to say when they do this; something flirty and fun.

1)What are some flirty and playful things that get the convo going.

2) A girl I went on one date with texted me that today (we ended up making out and getting a bit physical) so I responded with, "So you catch any digimon today? :P" (shes a big digimon fan).
No reply? I was wondering if I offended her or something.

I wish this were a common problem for me haha. Anyway what I would do:

1) "Hey, I was just thinking about you. what are you up to?" From here I would banter back and forth a little bit, but try to invite her on some sort of date asap, keeping in mind that for her to text you first, she obviously wants to talk to you and see you asap

2)she might just take a little while to respond, but I try to refrain from using faces in texts. Usually after I've already hooked up with someone, my first text will be something like "Hey, I had a lot of fun the other day. Let's get together again sometime soon!" Or "let's get together for X" where X was something you two talked about the last time you were together.

1. Do NOT answer every text that a girl sends you especially if you don't know what to say.

2. Refrain from sending texts that are too long.

3. Always be closing.

Girl: Hey! : )
You: Let's hang out at 5.

Girl: Hi.
You: (No response.)

When she texts you first, don't be afraid to assume the role of the "chased". It's important to let a girl put in a little bit of effort in the same way most guys do. If you notice most conversations between a man and a woman, the chick can respond with one worders and the man feels like it's HIS responsibility to keep coming up with things to say. He thinks the entire conversation going good or bad rests on his shoulders!

This is absolutely flawed!

Also, don't get so caught up in worrying about the "perfect thing" to say. Again that comes from a mindset of feeling like you have to chase and win her rather than realizing that she has to "win" you just as much in return.

The impression I get when a girl messages you after a date is she's pissed off and expected you to get in touch with her first or sooner. Sending a "hey" is basically saying to you "Eh, hello! Remember, the person from the other night? Fuck you." Doesn't matter what you say she'll know you'll reply because she thinks you're playing hard to get and will try turn the tables on you by not replying. It's all a game really and it sucks.
