Post subject:  Called but no answer. I'd like some advice and feedback.
Hey guys, I need some advice and feedback. Yesterday I got the phone no. of a girl I approached on the street. This is a first for me. Anyway, I called her today but she hasnt answered. I wonder if I should text her or call again (if you think I should call, should I do it tomorrow? or today? or?)

Btw, although she gave me her number I didnt feel very good about the whole thing. There were no IOI (well she did ask me where I was from since I have an accent, but thats it). I know she didn't give me a fake cause I gave her a miss call so that she can have my number and she didn't say ''I have a boyfriend'' (which is the classic way to reject)
So yeah...

Oh and this is how I approached ;
''Excuse me, I don't even know your name but I think you're pretty and I'd like to take you out sometime''
Nothing special. We didn't have much of a conversation, I think I might have rushed it.

cool approach, kept it simple but leave out the "i'd like to take you out sometimes" you can say that later on in the conversation. As far as her not answering goes, she's an emotional creature. the way she felt that day vs when you called could be different. or she just give you the number so she can be on her way... it happens to all of us

don't call her tomorrow or the next day. wait a few days, approach other females during the mean time, and then shoot a text that doesn't seem needy, but casual. if she answers proceed to try to get her on a date (dont get into elongated text conversation). if she doesn't answer, it's time to move on.

Thanks for the advice and yeah I agree I should have left that part out of the approach. Can you give me an example of a non-needy text? Because I'm pretty sure mine would come off as needy :D

Hey man,

Congrats on your first number; and I can assure you that it gets a lot easier after this point. Now, just beware that 80% of the quickies( basically approaching with 1 min of small talk and then number) turn out to be nothing. So don't be discouraged.

Feel free to call her again a couple days later at a different hour.

P.S. Nice job calling and not texting first. You're going to be good at this very soon.

Hey, thanks for the feeback. I called again the next day instead of texting and set up a date for today but she didn't turn up or answer her phone when I called to confirm. So yeah...I guess you are right saying that 80% turn up to be nothing.
It did damage my self esteem a little bit and I was disappointed cause she said she would be there. Honestly would have probably been better if she had rejected me. Oh well, guess I will keep on approaching.

PS : When I called to set up the date the phone conversation was a bit weird, like she wasn't paying much attention to what I was saying and she did sound a little distracted. So I was almost certain she wouldn't show up :D

A big congrats to you bro, YOU'RE IN THE GAME! So many guys sit on the sidelines of life and watch cute girl after cute girl pass by without doing anything. Not you tho. Just keep at it man.

Right on mate! I personally get an adrenaline rush from approaching random girls mall street bus stop what not its fun as hell, and like Eddie said good job with the phone call a while ago I realized how much more powerful a strong convo is than texting not only that I find them a lot more enjoyable. Keep at it what I like to do is approach women and put myself into a situation that forces me to work on my weaknesses. Good luck mate good job too!
