So there's a cute girl who lives a couple houses down from me. I've said good morning a couple times while walking the dog as she's running to her car, but that's about it. Tonight I came home a little late, and while taking the dog out saw her walking to her car carrying a ukulele on the other side of the street. I walk to the back yard, and a few minutes later hear her start playing and singing. I walk back out front (where the dog had stayed anyway just watching her) and she's just sitting on her car's tailgate playing away. So basically, what's my approach here? I kinda wanted to just walk across the street, listen a bit and say it sounded nice or something... but I feel like that's a little scary/creepy in the middle of the night on a dark street. Maybe next time I see her in the morning I make a joke like "so do you play music for your car often?" Anyone got better ideas? |

Don't even bring up the instrument. Just walk over one day if she is outside, if not, knock on the door, and say "hey, i'm your neighbor, just though we should be introduced". Then maybe lead into how she plays ukelele |
