I met this Vietnamese girl last weekend and we got on really well. We shared some really cool similarities and she kept commenting as to how amazing it was to have met someone who shared such similarities. Our favourite film is the same, most of our musical taste, life outlook and the course I study at university is her dream career but her strict parents would not let her study it. While talking she showed alot of IOIs, and I purposely ignored her at one point and talked to another girl to see if she would re-initiate the conversation and she did, more than once. So we shared a good experience talking for about an hour. I asked for her Facebook and later on just before I left she asked me for my phone number and I gave it to her and we talked about meeting up in the future. I had told her that I should have been studying right now at the time and she said that it was good that I didn't decide to study otherwise we would not have met. So 2 days go by and I decide to text her... Me: Hey, are you free to talk if I give you a quick call? ( ~ Not the best first text I know) Her (3hrs later): Hey, sorry I was working on my revision for the test tomorrow so i didnt check my phone. Btw are you alright? (immediately after) : Slept yet? (immediately after): Sleep tight ^^ Me (next day midday): Good luck in that exam. I'm great, i'm working on some fun projects! I might have some spare time later this week, we should meet up and have fun:) 3 days have passed and I have never recieved a reply. She also has me on facebook and spotify and hasnt made any contact there either. I really cannot understand why. If you met someone who shared so much in common and you got on well with them, then why would you not want to talk to them? We connected well and were comfortable around each other. She asked me for the number and before I left we talked about meeting up in the future to get to know each other better. I seriously thought I was guaranteed to meet her again. I am going to send her a text again sometime early next week. Its just really weird. Any thoughts on how I should approach this and what to do next? |

Hey man. I wouldnt think about it to much. Maybe she just has life in general going on and maybe she forgets sometimes.. Try and think and put yourself in her shoes And then try and map out her life and see what you can find. After doing so...you may feel better knowing that she may just be busy just ask her to hang out when she can. I bet you will feel so much better afterwards. |
