Hey guys had something I wanted to run by y'all I've been talking to this girl mix of texting and call's. Sometimes she forgets to reply so I'll tease her about it I'll txt her hey miss I never check my phone or hey goof are you still residing on planet earth? But I only use that as an opener if she hasn't replied and I need to get a hold of her for something like today there was a change in our plans she's at work so I can't call her. Its never a matter of her ignoring my txts she'll be like heyyyy I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you I'm terrible at remembering to reply then into a convo or something along those lines. I'm just wondering what you guys think of that type of teasing good bad or if it may appear needy. As always any advice is appreciated thanks! |

It sounds like you got yourself a pretty good-looking girl. However, I think it's better to hold off on texting her about her late responses. From the sounds of it, you are investing a lot more into the relationship than she is. Also- the fact that you text her about her late responses signals to her that you are bored and have nothing else to do. These are two things to avoid. Do not invest more into the relationship than she does (See Double your Dating by David DeAngelo for significance of this point). And never appear bored or out of options, as even if you aren't needy, you appear needy if you are bored and out of options, especially when it comes to women. Also appear or think of yourself as having plenty of options, even better, find more options to keep yourself occupied. If she doesn't reply it's because she has things to do- and once she starts missing you, and if she is attracted to you she will invest more in the relationship and she will text you more often than not. The point is to maintain and keep attraction, do not lose it by texting constantly, especially when it's in regards to her not replying.

Thanks for the advice. Ya your right at the moment I'm seeing 5 different girls, but this one stands apart from the rest. I was kinda torn on teasing her like that for that exact reason. She actually set up a date for tomorrow night so no damage done. Its a bit of a joke because the one time I didn't have my phone on me she was like hey did you abducted by aliens or something?? I think starting now I'm gonna cut out that teasing . |
