Girlfriend of 3-4 weeks. In the following scenarios: 1) Sort as an offhand topic, she's seen a wedding mag and started about it 2) She says she only dates for srs 3) She asks about things like my ability to provide after marriage What does it mean, and what am I supposed to do?

It means she sees you as a potential husband, and she doesn't want to waste any time marking her territory and letting you know that she's expecting you to propose to her in about 9 to 24 months, potentially. I'm assuming you're not dating for marriage or even considering this chick as "the one". Just blow it off and give some smart-ass answers that convey that she has to prove herself to YOU and that you are the one doing the deciding and that it's far too early for you to know anything that in-depth about her. I.e. she says "I only date when I'm serious about the person" you respond "Yeah, good idea." and change the topic. She asks about your ability to provide and say "That's so flattering! Let me get to know you a little better first. I mean, we haven't been dating for that long." This kind of stuff is only kicking the can down the road, which is all you really can do with women like this. They have made up their minds the now is the time to settle down, and no one is going to stop them. If you're not game, you'll have to make up some excuses based on the youth of your relationship (like the ones I just mentioned), but obviously, that'll only get you to anywhere from 6 months to a year before you hit another snag. She has a clock. My advice to you if you don't want to marry her is either get out soon so you don't have to deal with the pressure or if you wanna hang around and have fun a little longer, start responding cleverly to her inquiries about marriage so that she lets you get out of a definitive answer. Just know that the longer you take it with a girl like this, the messier things will be at the end. |

It doesn't mean shit dude. Most girls are in love with the idea of getting married. They fantasize about that type of stuff all the time. She's gonna keep bringing it up because thats what she likes to do. Ultimately, its your life. You don't have to get married so she can dream all she wants if its not something you're down with. |

You need to be more playful, so in a way, she knows that you're just being playful. When a girl brings the M topic up, I say things like, "Cool. We're going to get married in a thousand churches." When the girl bites with something like, "That's a lot of churches. Maybe we'll need an airplane to hop from one church to another."; keep the role play banter going until she's giggling and laughing so hard she doesn't mind you grinding your cock on her ass. |

She see's you as a potential husband, but most women that talk about marriage don't want it to happen right away. Its like you saying " im gonna start my own business in 2 weeks " we both know its not gonna happen until a life changing event occurs that sparks that need for you to start a business. Most women just TALK, watch her actions to tell you the direct and lucid message! |
