Before and/or when you go out to pick-up, what mindset do you prepare yourself to be in? How do you block any negative thoughts and over-thinking? Is it self-esteem and confidence? If so, what else? |

Here is my list... 1. Get rid of all expectations before you go out. Whatever happens happen. The only thing you can influence is your own mood and actions. 2. Get rid of your performance anxiety. You don't have to succeed with anything at all. So just relax and have fun. 3. Learn to ignore people that make you feel bad. They are not worth your time and energy. Only focus on those who make you feel good. As Tyler from RSD would put it, train your RAS (Reticular Activation System) to only focus on positive things. 4. Whenever you feel in a bad mood, focus on your sensory input, what you see, hear, feel, smell and taste. That will force your brain to stop thinking. Whatever caused your bad mood, it wasn't personal. Focus on what you want to do next (something positive and fun). Maybe you see someone you like. Go talk to him/her. |

Anxiety will always hit. You can approach in any mindset and in any "state". The only thing you need to do is approach. The first approach will always be tge hardest, abd then work on keeping your momentum up. Approach again in the next three minutes or so. |

I find having a few warm-up sets gets me in the mood for the rest of the night. Once you've sorta gotten over your AA for the night, you should be good. A drink or two can help. |

The mindset to have is that girls love talking to you and are waiting for you to pick them up. You are doing them a favor and they owe you. You are the prize and you saved them from going home alone or talking to some loser. |

Thanks for all the advice guys. Getting into the right mind-set is my main trouble and it eventually leads me to procrastinate too. Thanks for the quick help. |

As the earlier poster said the most difficult thing is the first approach of the day. In many instances, you literally have to FORCE yourself to do this. Sometimes, when not approaching you end up having a ton of regret which then compels you to approach. Better to just approach the first "set" of the day. Easier said than done I know, but it's the only way to get the ball rolling so might as well just say 'fuck it' and do it. |

My mindset is "I'm horny and maybe this girl will be worthy of my seed. Let me find out." |

Mindsets 1) I am awesome 2) I am having fun 3) All girls are nymphos and they want to fuck me. 4) No girl is going to go home with you between 10:30pm - 1:30am ... mine as well focus on having fun. Between 1:30am to closing time is when to make decisive pulls. Anxiety, over thinking, and entitlement counter: 1) Take soooo much action that your mind can't keep up. 2) See girl and approach immediately. The longer you wait the more you'll put your self in your head. 3) Calibrate after the fact. Take action and then deal with the situation after. Good posts! Sincerely, Donston |
