I sucked with girls and started reading into pick-up, although I do not consider myself to be a PUA. I've been around the block. I've felt the thrill of casual relations with beautiful women. I've indulged in the obscene peasure of a sucessfull hunt, but it has all been momentary. Like an addict's rush.

I came here hoping I would learn how to game a very specific girl. Obviously, an all out sucess at first try was too much of a stretch. I failed gloriously and have not heard from her ever since. I then enjoyed the meningless sex as my game got better, but it has only served to accentuate the void in my life.

I want an LTR, the same I've always wanted. I've been fooling around with the wrong girls until the right one shows up, and I think she has. I met a girl who fits my standard perfectly, the thing is, she has been burned one too many times before and my game attitude made me look unreliable and untrustworthy.

PUA has braught me this far. It turned me from a needy chode into a confident man with the traits of an alpha male. But I think it also harmed my chances of having a serious relationship by turning me into the kind of douche I always vowed I would never become.

I am grateful to everyone here for all your advice, but it is time to move on, so where do I go from here? Does anyone know about books or forums like this dedicated to LTR's instead of PUA?
