I love the idea of Game. I've always loved women and I've always loved trying to work out how to be with them and be happy with them. Finding the Game has been great but I find myself rather ashamed and rather embarrassed about it all.

Does anybody else have this problem?

Like I spent the first month or so keeping it to myself, I told a friend of mine and he loved it so now we discuss game together often and wing each other but besides that I keep it quiet.

I think it's the geeky nicknames and codewords that put me off. The term PUA itself is cringy.

Don't flip out anybody as I say I adore the Game. I can understand if this may rile some people up though.

Hey man, you must have read Style's "The Game"... he acknowledges the same problem... keeping his "normal" social circle and his PUA friends as far apart from each other as possible was a concern for Neil Strauss too... Only when publishing the articles and book did he come out as a PUA, and I am guessing he did it only for the lucrative opportunities that appeared...

But for us, regular people, it is just fine to keep this "hobby" as a secret, after all, most people would not understand it anyway... to quote again from Style, admitting to yourself and your peers that you are clueless about women carries a social stigma...

Forget about it and enjoy the Game!

I have read The Game. I do like the secrecy of it all. I suppose if I could discuss game openly it would ruin it.

I tend to think that those involved with game are those who are of above average intelligence. Those who think about things in depth, hence why we need to learn game.

Most of your friends probably suck with women anyways (You are the middle of your 5 closest friends)

You might actually be doing them a favor by teaching them a thing or two. You don't have to talk all "Dungeons and Dragons" about it using the tacky pick up terms like the VH1 show... But most guys don't mind some advice as long as they are getting results.

True. I don't use all the lingo if I don't have to.

I prefer the idea of a classy ladies man like Casanova.

Exactly. Rather than all the lingo, just think of it all more as "meeting and chilling with women."

honestly I don't use the lingo.... I never told anybody how much time I put into studying this shit until now. I feel I want to become more open about it, mainly because I feel like it's in my duty to help coach other people.

I fully understand where you're coming from though. I highly recommend you meet some friends who do know "the game" though, they can help you progress a lot more than the average friend that's too afraid to approach or tries to put you down for showing courage.
