I had a first date tonight. after the date I think I could have kissed her but I had no clue where I stood with her. I wrote her a text saying I had fun and asked if she got home ok. She wrote but didn't say she had fun. After I just said whatever and wrote "are you interested in going out again"... She said "um, well I did all the talking so I don't know if that would work for dating" Does this mean ... "I don't find you attractive"? I wrote back saying I think we would have fun. but that is ok. She said "ok?" Then I said well, consider coming to dinner Monday. and she said she would think about it... Is this 100% not interested? She screwed me up big time with the timing and it really messed up my schedule... Should I write her on Monday and see if she wants to go out...? |

It is sounding like she did all the work? She said that she did all the talking thats why she didn't like the date. Was the date awkward or something ? I think she's attracted to you so you could still get her but if the date was bad you got the step up your game. She might give u another shot but that could be your last shot. |

Seems like you bored her out. She was attracted at first, but then lost decent attraction because of the date. Try to set up another date and be more interesting. |

He needs to do a massive u-turn to save it. Sounds like he did zero escalation and came across all shy and boring. At this stage she is definitely NOT attracted but can be turned around IF he gets another meet. |

Come on lets do this! how do I do it? I already said Im shy at first and that I think we would have fun and I asked her to consider going out for dinner again on Monday or Tuesday so now what???? Also, my gut is telling me that maybe she is just saying that to let me down easy... |

There's nothing to be shy about, she's probably more nervous than you, so take that to your advantage and man up. |

from the sound of it dinner is a bad idea. if the first meet was a dinner date and she did all the talking, it's bound to go the same way and if you do talk more it will seemed forced. If anything I would suggest to her some kind of bounce to a non dinner type event. These include:go-cart track, put-put (mini golf), county fair, driving range, canoeing or kayaking. I put these as options because they are competition based and since she has already told you she has done all the work this will show your willingness to compete with her. Shes pretty much saying that your predictable, spice up the interaction by doing something other than dinner |

Hey mate. This might help you out from what I gathered you had trouble holding a convo with this girl. Check this site out http://www.wayoftheplayer.com there's a lot of really good articles on there about having convos with girls, and how to have a great 1st date as well as how to escalate, and save a date that's going downhill. Ok thanks everyone for the advice. I guess I'm still wondering if it is possible to turn this around. Should I just call tomorrow? |
