| Post subject: | How to Talk to a Syrian FOB? |
Hello, I went to a college group (figured nothing else to do), and I ran into this one girl. She was shy, but very pretty. So I added her online (would have chatted, but I was trying to talk with everyone since there was a guy to girl ratio of about 2-1). In any case, I added her on FB, and learned she was from Syria. I said hi, she responded, she asked me if I was the guy from group, and I said yeah. So i started by asking her if she was in pre med, she said yeah. I then asked her why she decided on that, but never got an answer. However, when I said hi in the computer area of the library, she said hi. In person she seems very shy. With the exception of the group leaders, I don't think she talked at any time during the group meeting. Any thoughts on this type of situation? |

..I don't know much about facebook game.. I do know that if you say something funny and interesting, or something that they'd really want to message you about, they we be more likely to message you back. You should probably mainly talk to her in person if she's FB shady. If she's shady in person, make her laugh and keep talking to her. After about... 2 or 3 hours of all together talking time, or when you feel she's a little connected to her, you should start building rapport. Ask her interesting questions and find out what she cares about and show that you respect them. Then she'll probably come up to talk to you herself. Just show her and you are a valuable person that she should be around. If you don't feel that you are that person or just can't be that person, you should learn ways to become more fun around her. |
