hey guys I'm having some trouble sealing the deal with girls after i get their number. I can number close a bunch of different girls and it seems they are really into me when we part ways. when it comes time for the first text i usually say something like " it was nice to meet you the other day and i can't stop thinking about *insert funny topic from the night*." afterwards i will text her for awhile only for her to stop texting back or she wont respond from the initial text at all. its so frustrating because i seriously look through my texts message log and i can count about a dozen girls from the past 2 weeks but maybe one is talking to me still. I don't overtext them back, I try to be playful, and only ask them for a casual meet up after a few days. I feel like I'm getting marked as a "Player" the second these girls meet me and I try to overcome it, futally. Any suggestions to overcoming the player type?

I'm not sure if it's the player label you need to overcome. Possibly your text game needs refinement. Try out changing up your text game with the next few girls and see if that makes a difference.

I will check out some text game stuff in the forums to see how it goes. In response to the fury: I usually get a solid make out, some real dirty dancing at the club, etc. I just never seem to meet up with them again. A few texts later and bammmmm, nothing!

That's his point.... you're stopping at the number. Why don't you just pull the girl? Be a closer dude. Don't take it almost all the way and then puss out. If you're a player, be a player. You're not being congruent.

Its got nothing to do with 'player label' or text game. If the purposes of getting those numbers was purely to see them again, you need to ask if the purpose of the number exchange was entirely clear to the girl.

Think about it like this, if I gave you my number. And you just kept texting me random stuff even if it was funny, whats the real incentive to text back? None. However if you told me before you asked me for my number that you want to meet up for coffee and we can arrange it over text, then all of a sudden there is a clear purpose for texting.

So unless your 13, theres no need to be texting back and forth random entertaining stuff. If you want to see her again, you need to make it abundantly clear and just go for it. Good luck :)

Stop texting a girl and CALL THEM

Make the first time reaching out to them a PHONE CALL.

I don't start texting girls until I've built a solid emotional connection. A quick 1-2 and get the number isn't enough building to maintain a spark through word processing. Call the girls man and you'll be fine.

When you don't know the girl well, don't text her unless you want to set a date. Building attraction is not good on text at first, you have to see her more in person.

Numbers don't mean anything. I can walk into any club and ask for every girl's number. What counts is making that girl feeling secure, comfortable and having fun around you while you escalate and get what you both want.
