So my married coworker (who has been mildly flirty before, including one time we had both been drinking where we had a "moment" - though that was almost two years ago) hit me today.

I was in the kitchen, she was there, another female coworker was in there, and the married coworker's friendzoned work orbiter was there.

I'm talking to the other woman, as we're working on a project together, and apparently the married coworker, we'll call her Susan, is trying to get into the refrigerator and I'm apparently in the way.

So she hits me in the arm, pretty hard, out of nowhere.

She seems very excited by this and says, "I hit you pretty hard for a girl, didn't I?" and at this point, I'm more or less shocked, because this is work, and a girl (who is married) just hit me in public.

Now, I don't mind sassy girls, so this wasn't a problem to me.

She then drops the top of the milk jug, and points to it, and looks at me, expecting me to pick it up.

At first make no move to pick it up. She doubles down. I look at her like, "Are you really trying this shit, girl?" - orbiter is about to pick it up - I don't think he picked up on the power dynamics at play in the scenario.

Finally, I pick it up, looking at her pointedly.

She squeals in excitement, "Haha, I got [My Name] twice!"

I sent her an email of, "You're weird." afterwards.

She responds with, "I’m really sorry if I offended you in anyway. I’m just goofing around – have had a crazy morning so far."

I respond with, "Hahahaha, no, you’re fine. I’m not offended at all. I was just very confused for a second.

Women punching me and trying to get me to do random silly tasks for them is something I’m used to, just not at work."

She responds with, ";) lol.

Okay whew. I thought about it after and was worried I had offended you in some way."


Is she flirting with me? I'm not quite sure how to interpret girl randomly hitting me at work any other way. It was just so out of left field. I don't even interact with her very often (though she is aware of my reputation as sleeping with many women).
