Post subject:  BS defense and ending meetings

Hi, I'm newbie in this forum, but not entirely a newbie to doing pick-ups, it's just that I've been almost 100% isolated from women in the last 5 years, and so haven't received much practise in interacting with them, and therefore I prefer to ask some questions before making my first new serious attempts.

What I look for right now are good tips that work well at the age of 18-25 on countering BS, and if there are any known differences in tactics needed for different ages of the target.

About BS: if a woman insults you or similar, what is the best response? I think laughing at her insult and so on could work in many cases, or? Otherwise, there's the problem of picking a good balance between not looking too cowardly/weak in the response, while not looking too rude/aggressive when responding. It's damn hard to fine-tune the balance there after having been isolated from chicks for a while. Any good starting tips?

Second question is, when going for a fast pickup and escalation of the level of seduction, what are good ways to get pauses to consolidate the gains and sort of regroup (think and make new plans etc) for the next escalation? I.e. when should you try to make such pauses, and when not? Say, if the woman doesn't make any such pauses, will she think it a sign of weakness if I make one? Also, about quitting/ending a date/less formal meeting, who should take the initiative to do it - me or the woman? Most of the time it seems it's the woman who makes it, but especially if it isn't a date, it will often be necessary for you to leave to go to other appointments that you have. What are the best ways of ending a meeting? A good balance between not seeming like a wuss on one hand, and not seeming too uninterested/confidence-breaking either. What lines do YOU use? A good bonus would be if the ending of the meeting can be used to increase the tension to improve for the next meeting.
