Post subject:  Not sure where to put this "Letting girls down"
[EDIT] I was rereading this and thought some if might be unclear so I edited it.

I got my first SNL from a girl I met at work. It wasn't like written in stone, but I'm pretty sure both of us agreed for it to be a mutally crazy thing. But I'm not even sure how these things go exactly. We exchanged phone numbers in the morning, but what if she wants more or whatever? Basicaly, how do I say no? Being friends would be fine, but nothing I wouldn't want anything more than that. Should this situation arise, which it may or may not.

And also more importantly, do I text her? call her or WHAT? I'm so confused...

Also today she texted
Thanks, I'm on my way back to my car.
and I responded
No problem I had fun too.

Do I leave it at this? Should I have said something different?
I guess I should add that I left early cause I didn't want to 'be explained' to her housekeeper/friend.

Tell her you dont want to get into a relationship right now because of something that's happening in your life. Dont tell her what, but since you've joined PUA and it's happening in your life you aren't lying ;)

What if the subject never comes up? Do I bring it up? Seriously, how can you say 'I'm not looking for a relationship right now" and just blurt it out?

Isn't there some sort of indirect way I can do this? Like come off MAJORLY AFC and and unattract her? More importantly, I just realized Valentines day is coming up... I'm like SCREWED aren't I?

She called me today, and it was wierd.

[edit] I need some help with this. I'm one of those really nice guys, I have a hard time being mean to people unless they deserve it. I don't like to hurt anybody. argh! I seriously need help. Everybody, don't be bashful, even if the advice seems retarded! It's better than nothing

Did you make plans with her for V day? Why are you worrying about it?

The reason talking to her today was weird was because you made it like that.

You could, nothing wrong with saying it. Tell her you are not looking for a committed relationship but you can still hang out together.

Depends on who you are, Im one of those spontanious random guys and say whats on my mind at all times. If you're one of those guys too then you can pull it off. It's not hard, when there's an akward silence, just blurt it out and then move onto the next subject right away, this will get her curious at the same time (since you're switching subjects quickly)
