So I'm pretty sure I have an idea of what I should do in this situation but I want a few more opinions before I go out and do it. Long story short, I have a girl who used to have a huge crush on me (about a year ago) that I never made a move on because I wasn't interested (my mistake). Now I am interested in her, and although she throws out tons of IOIs when I see her in person (for example: she squeezed my head so hard from a hug when she first saw me the other night I almost passed out and we flirt A LOT through eye contact [I'm much better at body language and non-verbal flirting than anything verbally]) she can be very distant over the phone when it comes to texting, snapchat etc etc. She will always reply to the first few, but the conversation rarely lasts long. It's also very difficult to catch her at a time when shes not busy to hang out. You're probably all saying there's no problem here yet, some girls are just bad with phones (and I would agree). However, the other day I heard from a friend that rumors are going around in other social circles(mostly amongst girls) that "I like her." I'm assuming this came directly from her since I have suddenly been texting and talking to her more. Normally this wouldn't worry me if I had kiss closed the girl already, but the best part of my game is being a mystery and keeping the girl guessing, so she doesn't know what to expect. My problem is, if she does know I am going after her, I lose all of the power, risk losing any attraction she has for me and become "too easy." As of now, my plan is to freeze her out for a week or so just to keep her guessing and then resume from there. Is this even necessary though? Is this not long enough? Better yet, would it be too much time for things to cool down? Opinions? |

I'll take the silence as everyone agrees this is the best way to go. Freeze her out it is. |

Stop the texting, stop the facebooking or whatever. My advice is to wait a few days, if nothing comes from her, then you take the intiative to contact her and ask her out, or to hang out. If she is interested, she wont say no, if she does, then you have better things to do. |

Thanks for the advice! I doubt say no. She never does, it just always seems that she has some legitimate reason to be busy. We will see. |

Quick update on this girl. Got a drunk text from her last night just saying hey, so that's a good sign. Could be she just really isnt into texting sober. We've had a decent conversation this morning, but I'm gonna wait a few more days before I make an attempt to hang out with her. Can't hurt. |
