I also would like to an opinion from the remaining scene out there i.e. Do you feel that the scene has become over saturated do to the mass media exposure on television and through publications? What I am asking is do you think that since it has been exposed in many cities women have caught on to the old-techniques and they are beginning to become obsolete and the scene has now been flooded with unknowing new PUAs? Do you think what we need now is a new Guru unlike any from the past to emerge with new methodologies and tactics of the Game? Should preeminent Gurus modify there current Game and emerge from the ashes anew like a phoenix with new and unused Game to revitalize respect in the community?

And are woman finally catching on? If women are aware of what PUA's are doing then it spoils The Game and there lessens the chances of the pick-up. Do the same old tricks still work these days? I know of women that own copies of The Game and other PUA videos and publications. Some of them use it as PUAs in the field and some use it to be ahead of the PUAs so that they could spoil their game. Many woman that know the Game are using what are called "Spoilers" (one line counter lines to literally close off one's game) i.e. they make a remark (sometimes rude and offensive) to crush a man's opener or approach. These "Spoilers" can also be a remark that points out the pick-up line e.g. She says something of the nature in response "You need to quit using those same old pick up lines" or "Heh! What...was that from a book (giggle, giggle, laugh and walk away)?" What I am trying to say is that "B!#%h Defense" has elevated to higher degree but there are some women that are still oblivious to the PUA methodologies. There are now PUA Haters or APUA (Anti pick-up artists) that know of the PUA scene and intentionally prep themselves up a little bit to combat the PUAs i.e. they read the Seduction books, PUA books and have seen the VH1 stuff. However, there is also the growing community of female PUAs with their own vernacular (lingo) and utilize PUA skills to pick-up men and women.

Do you think what really needs to happen is to let the scene continue to die out and go back into the underground? This would probably allow for the scene to be more applicable to reflect the contemporary scene that is vastly different from the scene 5 to ten years ago when it was still out of the mainstream media spotlight.

I just want assurance that the science of pick-up still is applicable today as it was in the past.
