Post subject:  PUA, NLP, self help etc....

Hi,

Ive just posted in the Introductions section for anyone who is interested so again, hello!

Before i had even hear of the whole PUA thing i had read numerous books on NLP, hypnosis and other stuff like Robert Anton Wilson's Prometheus Rising and as we all should know, alot of people jumped on the band wagon creating a massive industry, some of it good, some of it, total bollocks designed to rip off people by playing on their insecurities.

I guess (and i may be wrong), that the same is true of the PUA industry so what i want to know is what material is worth the price tag (books etc) and what/who should be avoided.

I realise only i can change my circumstances so im just looking for fresh ideas to put i different slant on my thinking.

PS. If anyone is in the South East (UK) and would like to discuss their PUA experiences then just PM me.

Cheers!

Mystery, David DeAngelo, Style, David Shade. Those are the ones I trust the most.

Ross Jeffries has some good stuff out too, although the guy himself seems creepy at times.

There are a few that I personally have not been impressed with, but I'm not gonna list those on a public thread. You can pm me for more of that.

As far as NLP goes, I'd recommend Derren Brown if you haven't checked him out already. Look him up on youtube to see some of the amazing stuff he can do with it.

Yeah Derren Browns. Red BMX and Collor Changing are very good examples of NLP. Some others are good aswell but I don't know if they are on youtube.

Most of the mPUA names you hear are going to be reliable sources of useful information.

I personally don't trust Anthony Berger for some reason. I don't see anything special or unique that Scott Patterson teaches. DO NOT even think about getting Thundercat's Art of Approaching book. It's a total waste of time.
