What's up? I'm new on here and was sent to this site by one of my clients. I figured I'd just ask everyone's oppinion instead of goin through pages of forums, not cuz I'm lazy, but I have to leave for work in 10 minutes. So here's the story... There's a girl at work...HB10 (I'm not kidding either)....that I've grown close to in the past month. It started out in a tragedy in our lives that brought us closer together and then we kind of hit it off because our personalities are so similar. So eventually I manned up (if you wanna call asking her out through a letter manning up) on New Years and asked her out. Only to find out that all this time...surprise, surprise, she's got a boyfriend. Apparently he was some dude in corporate and they were keeping it a secret b/c of that. After that about a day or two later, I get a text from her asking me to train her (I'm a personal trainer at the gym she works at). I actually owed her personal training for something she did for me. So I started training her and we were still hittin it off like usual. Then later in the week, I get a text saying that her and her boyfriend are arguing and she probably wouldn't be able to train anymore. So obviously this guy got jealous or whatever....skipping to the end....the next day, she comes into work, and there's something obviously wrong....and it turned out she broke up with the guy. So that day we ended up leaving work for 2 hours b/c I needed to go take my truck into the shop and she gave me a ride, we got lunch, hung out had a great time....blah, blah, blah....so now it's almost been a week since she broke up with this guy, but other than hanging out that one day and when she comes into train with me, I don't know if I've gotten any real indication that I've still got a shot with this girl.....any advice or am I just totally blind? Should I wait a bit? |

Have the nuts to go ask her out in person. The only reason that she didn't do anything with you in the first place was cause she had a fella, now he's gone so why dont you take his place. Do it next time you see her before someone else does it. Good Luck mate. |

AGREED. When you're at work tell her "We should go out for a drink this week." .... Don't ask her... TELL HER! You should be comfortable enough to say that, sounds like you have enough rapport! |

Coffee would be better than a "drink".

I once had a similar situation in high school. This really cute girl actually broke up with her boyfriend and let her friends tell me so that I'd ask her out. I was a total AFC, but she really liked me for reasons I will never understand. There's a girl at work...HB10 (I'm not kidding either)....that I've grown close to in the past month. Should I wait a bit? Bro, seize the moment. She broke it off with her CEO boyfriend FOR YOU, she likes you THAT MUCH. Game her, show her you are interested. Sack check time, are you man enough? |

Alright so here's the update....I actually didn't get to read your responses until now. I just got back from a trip, but the night before I left, we were working and I was supposed to hang out with my buddies at the bar next door after work and I told her to come along. But before we left, I realized she wouldn't be able to get in b/c she's only 19. Luckily, my boys were taking forever to get there, so instead we went out for pancakes at IHOP and stayed out until about 2am. Not quite the drink or coffee you guys recommended but she had fun at least. Then we talked a bit over the phone while I was away. I guess I'm on the right track, but y'all think I should just ask her out again? Like official or just keep gettin her to hang out until eventually we hook up? |
