Here is what happened to me. "That hat is ridiculous....but you can pull it off." My friend, "Those look like old man shoes..." Me- "Really, what do you think?" (to the girl with us) Her- "Kind of but you pull them off pretty well." I'm assuming when a girl tells you that you can "pull it off" or "not everyone could pull it off but you can" its a good sign? What do you guys think? |

I would say you can see it in her eyes. And yeah the shoe thing is an IOI AND tell your friend to learn how to dress. Can't keep wearing sneakers forever. |

I second that IOI, especially when it says it twice. |

Friends would usually make fun of them if they agreed, or be very sarcastic about it (which you should be able to tell and if you can't then brush up on your NLP). By saying that they looked fine, then you have to assume that's what she meant and if she didn't, then she obviously likes you enough to lie to you, so that's an IOI too.The truthfulness isn't really the point here, it is the fact that by keeping your frame solid, she complied with your frame and complimented. If his frame had been weak, she might still have responded the same way, but if he was being self conscious about it, it would have been in pity and there wouldn't be any attraction to his confidence. |
