What's the advice regarding opening doors and giving a girl your jacket in the cold. I've done both of these in the past and the girls seemed impressed. However from reading stuff it sounds almost as bad as buying her a drink. |

It depends on where you are in the game with your target. You know when I'm in comfort stage and I'm turning off most of the negs and showing IOIs with IOIs I will be a gentleman. Opening doors, standing up when she enters/leaves a room, pulling out chairs, is a lost form of chilvary. But I only do it if she behaves. |

I never do the chair thing. I think it's ridiculous. She is not a toddler and doesn't need help getting in a chair. But the doors & jacket I usually do. |

Ah, but that is the exact reason to do it. DHV.... Doors, Chairs, Coat.... I even walk on the outside of the street from her. I provide 'protection' from the street (thanks DD) Be different. Do things that you still hold frame, that no one else does. |

I think you may have it mixed a little my friend. Holding a door for a girl is an action of a cordial person. It doesn't DLV unless you assume this sort of behavior as dlving. Personally, what I try to do when acquiring a target in motion is lead the conversation so effectively, that approaching and opening a door is like second nature(IE, something I always do no matter who is walking with or behind me) You can still have a ton of fun that leads to some physical play with girls. Still give them some disqualifiers and qualifiers, but always know that you are in control of the situation. |

Actually I have read many of David D's ebooks and he says being cocky and funny but being a gentleman (doing small things liking opening doors, walking on the open side of the sidewalk, etc) will bring you good things from Santa! the thing with buying her a drink is...you will come off like you are trying to manipulate her buying her stuff the first time you meet her.. meeting a girl does not require spending money on her.. and if she sees you do this then she will most likely take advantage of you and probably leave you! Just don't be her bitch but be a gentleman it shows you are confident and classy! Don't do a bunch of favors for her or buy her a bunch of things ..be a little unpredictable and surprise her... and tease and neg her but then throw in some chivalry and you are golden..Chivalry is the key here |
