Post subject:  A Couple Questions
Okay so about a month ago there was this girl who I had known from high school. I said we should hang out and she ended up just giving me her phone number saying we should definitely hang out cuz she misses me. Well I was all pussed out and never called, until last night. I was drunk as shit and wanted someone to come pick me up so I start dialing. Anyway I called her back today and here's how the convo went:

Me: So have you figured out who it is yet?
Her: Yeah, I never knew that was your last name.
Me: Oh haha, yeah I got drunk last night and decided to call people to see if anyone would come get me.
Her: Oh
Me: But anyway, so your gonna come hang out with me this Wednesday.
Her: Hmm..maybe. Because I have to work real early in the morning (then I kinda didn't hear what else she said)...maybe this weekend.
Me: This weekend huh? We'll see, well I gotta get going to work.
Her: Where do you work now?
Me: I'm still working at the movie theater, they're really flexible with my hours and it makes it easy to go to school.
Her: Oh thats good.
Me: Yeah, well just give me a call whenever alright
Her: Okay, bye bye

So my question is how did I handle it? I wasn't sure what to say after she said "maybe" and should I give her a call another time or just move on? I'm assuming the fact that she gave me her number and I never called may be a problem..

And with this other girl who I started talking to on myspace, this is a recent convo when I was trying to number close, I'm not sure how to respond or if I even should respond: (bottom to top)

Just to see if she would come pick you up. Strike two.
Oh, wait, you never called back in the first place. Strike three.

No wonder at this point she said "maybe".

Then YOU say "just give me a call whenever" . . . You're out.

She says . . . "bye, bye" . . . confirming that you're out.

You've got to get your inner game right. And getting drunk doesn't help that.

Three strikes huh, damn. I wasn't getting drunk to help with inner game though...I'm not sure what I was thinking when I called but it had nothing to do with pick-up. But thank you for your critism. As for the second one, would mind giving me a lil insight on why I fucked that one up?

Ok, with the first girl above, you COULD possibly bring her back around LATER down the road, by moving on and getting involved with other girls.

On the second one . . . you're initial message to her and her response were good. You're response after that wasn't bad but could have been better. I really think you went for the phone number before she was comfortable with you. Now, she's just trying to blow you off, thinking you're creepy.

You should never phone people when your drunk, even friends. Unless you really have to. Because in the morning your not gonna know what the fuck you said and you'll probly end up saying some dumb shit you would'nt normally say. But thats easier said than done cus at the time your really thinking straight. She may now think that your abit of a piss head (sum1 who gets drunk all the time) and that your gonna be hard work like picking you up all the time an etc. Plus how long did you wait to phone her anyway?

1 month thats a long time and when you did'nt call she would have thought you wer'nt intrested and forgot about it. And then when you do call you was drunk and needing a lift.
Im not gonna write anymore as i've kind of forgotton your story. But you can always win her round in the future (thats if you want to)
