ok so I have a job that is seasonal(ends after winter break) and there is a girl there whom I just can't stop thinking sexual thoughts about. I'm a quiet guy and this girl seems quiet too. Now I haven't done much to really warm up to her since I am such a quiet guy (confident tho). e work in cramped spaces and often we are too busy to talk but there are down times where I can never think of anything to talk about. Wondering what I should do next? |

If you have any canned routines those down-times would be good times to use them. If not, give her a cookie-cutter opener that keeps you spurring conversation instead of her. Once you have that air of connection do a game like the Cube on her. |

personally, i think canned openers and complete structured routines seem out of place in the corporate work envirnment. I would start by introducing yourself, and maybe find out if she is seasonal two, just to make conversation. if so what does she do the rest of the year? if not, "oh ok, so your one of the people that actually knows what they're doing here." just talk to her. build some comfort, some slight flirting, and if its a thursday or friday, find out if she'd like to go out with you to wherever friday night. good luck, PB |
