ok, for all the newbs out there like me. this is an interesting case to ponder. To make sure we DHV and get the girl to comply, do we take a gamble and hope all that kino, negging, playful stuff, DHV and just walk away from the date or pick up and hope they will ask for our number? do we force a kiss into them (show dominance -DHV or desperation)? or ask for their number (retreat tactic)? |

Although it's a strong IOI if she volunteers her number, some girls simply won't do that. So, you NEED to not be afraid to get her number. And, don't ask for it. Just get it. There are several different ways to do that. Be creative. And NO, you NEVER "FORCE" a girl to kiss you. That's definitely a DLV. If you try, and she's willing, she will, period. And, shoot for at least a kiss close. If you get that, the number should be no problem. But, even if you don't get the kiss, still go for the number. She may just not be comfortable enough or attracted enough yet. |

I made that HUGE mistake the other night, and I knew better. Was gaming this Hooter waitress and had her eating out of the palm of my hand. My buddies were like IOI out the ass man. So time comes, I say...."you seem like a cool person to hang out with, so can I get your number and we'll hang out sometime". Yeah, I know. I was like GOD FUCKING DAMNIT. That one thing blew it for me, and she said no because they weren't allowed to give out numbers. Had I gave her my phone and told her to put her number in, I'm 99.99% positive she would have. My boys even said so. |

You see this a lot down south where the whole idea of a Hooters, etc.. goes against the religious values of many communities who would just as soon not see them there in the first place. Or declared a house of sin or something. When you have businesses chronically interfering in the personal lives of their employees it's ridiculous. |

I've seen this shyt happen too many times. And it's entirely FU. But since you live in a right to work state the employee has little or no recourse. So businesses know they can get away with it. It's usually only in male owned, or male managed shops. When women are in charge, there's usually no problem. I mean what kind of stupid rule is it that you can't give somebody your phone number? This is insane. That's why I don't patronize 'Hooters', and will not patronize any business with such an ignorant and sexist policy. |

It's about not actually "asking". It's controlling the frame and "telling". I think that you can set the situation up to where she HAS to get your number or you HAVE to get hers so you can exchange something in the future (no dirty thoughts here, guys). But she will never really ask you unless you initiate the reasoning for it. Make sense? I think the Hooters girl would be a tough situation. Starbuck is right. She has a lot to lose by exchanging information... that being her job. Would the best opportunity be to have her bounce with you when she got off of work that night then exchange numbers? or just gambling and telling her to give you her number? How would you other PUA's have done it? |

All I can say is I usually avoid such places. If the management tries to f..k with me, or her over a bunch of stupid bullshyt that may or may not even happen anyway, I'm liable to get ugly, loud or both. I've done it before. Best thing to do is ask the chick where her and her friends hang out after they get off. Then just show up. |

Do a false walk away. Start walking away, turn back and say "You know what, you should give me your phone number" if no follow up date has been planned (Better to plan a follow up date while in the set). She just may ask for your phone number as you leave her. Quote: I made that HUGE mistake the other night, and I knew better. Yeah, I've got to agree with Starbuck here. It's entirely ridiculous that businesses are even ALLOWED to forbid that kind of stuff. It's not interfering with their business, but it does interfere with the employees personal lives. Of course, the businesses love to have it that way. If they can dictate your whole life, they seem to like that. And yes, saq, I agree, if you had given her your phone, most likely she would have put her number in. Valence, I see your point too, but you've also got to remember that every girl is different. Some of them don't care so much about the rules, or their job for that matter. Whereas other girls are really scared to rock the boat. You never know how much she NEEDS that job and figures she can't afford to jeapordize it. But, if he had done it in some way where it wasn't obvious to management what she was doing, he probably would have gotten it. That goes back to the plausable deniability too. You know . . . "it just happened". |

That's exactly what I was saying. I should have handed her the phone and just told her to put it in. Had she said no at that point, I would have just said something along the lines of ......."that's ok, i assumed you were a cool person, but I see I misjudged you.".......and pretty much exit from there.

Thats a stupid rule they created as to maintain the integrity of their business mainly to not have their girls like like hoes but it depends on the girl I've hook up with a hooter's girl before got her number in the restaurant. I was with just one friend and there wasn't anybody around really paying attention to us either. You probably had too many guys with you 3 or more guys is too many. The waiters won't give their numbers to u in front of groups of guys who would possibly run their big mouths about it cuz aint nothin better than hookin up with your typical hooter girl who fills out the uniform real nice haha.....I highly doubt the cell phone under the table trick would have worked due to the fact too many of your boys were around and knew the deal.Yeah, I know. I was like GOD FUCKING DAMNIT. That one thing blew it for me, and she said no because they weren't allowed to give out numbers. Back to the original post you got to ask for the number playa otherwise you relying on hope that she'll give u her number and if she's doesn't then what??? If you don't make it happen it might happen but don't take that chance just Ask |

Tripp, that sounds kind of like an insult. No actually, it is great because it makes her have to regain your approval of her. |

It was written on the back of the bill,or the receipt? Perhaps it has a different policy or none at all. Hooters has both corporate locations and franchises. So policies for individual restaurants may be different depending upon the location and whether they've had problems in this area or not.In other words what maybe the policy for a corporate Hooters in Austin, Tx, maybe different than a franchisee in Greenville, NC. Employment law varies by state. Regardless, that's one of the reasons why it's a stupid policy. And I'm aware of businesses in my area that have similar, and even worse policies of meddling into the private affairs of their employees. And if it involves me, they're attempting to meddle into my private life as well which is liable to get me extremely steamed. The last time this kind of shyt happened to me the girl did something sorta stupid trying to get my attention and got canned. I fired off a letter to their corporate office, and management types started disappearing. I don't need any particular womans phone number, or company bad enough to risk jeopardizing her job. And again I wont patronize businesses that engage in such idiotic practices. That's just me. |
