I have a problem sometimes with blushing when I know I'm the centre of attention. My words freeze up and I find it difficult to act natural. I can usually save myself to some degree but it means that I find it hard to tell long stories, or tell a joke in a good way with a good natural delivery etc etc. Some girls probably find this attractive but if it creates an awkwardness in a group situation it ruins SV. Any tips for trying to get over this? |

Practice and calibrate. The more you do it the less effective the jokes are on your mind. Use your lines on friends, family, co-workers, acquantinces. etc. Just start numbing yourself to its affects. Otherwise, you are who you are. Who cares if you blush, you're the AMOG, try not to let it affect your performance. Side Note: Impromptu classes, standup comedy, even karaoke, public speaking courses may all help you. ~J SMOOTH~ |
