To those out there wishing to impart insight, I've starting on MM, and Mystery has said that the real hardcore game plans work best on 9s and 10s. Something has bothered me about the rating system, and it isn't merely the assigning of a numerical value to another human being - it's how that numerical value is garnered in the first place. How does one know a 10 in the first place? I'm sure there plenty of insanely hot women out there that ping most guys Game-o-Meter (patent pending) that I would flat-out ignore. Take former target Paris Hilton. I don't care how many other guys want to be around her (the media throng at Bondi last New Years was passe), I don't care how much money she, how insecure she is inside, or what her celebrity cache is - there is on interest there beyond her having XX chromosones. I can point to a half-dozen female celebrities I would rather get to know on ANY level, and my ignoring of a woman like Paris would be based on genuine lack of interest. (request for a list) Before anyone says I'm automatically pre-judging someone I've never met and has an awful lot of media hype, women copy her in an attempt to portray her (the Paris Hilton gameplan?), and all it says to me is that they may well be chart-topper, but, by your outward portrayal, you just lost my interest. [this leads me to believe that a major chunk of problem is a lack of inner game] This garralous exposition leads me to the reason for writing; I'm afraid my standards are shot. I'm not talking to a 10 because I'm excluding her, I'm not talking to a 10 because I'm afraid I've been socially programmed to value her <6 friend IS the 10. Yes, I've asked, and spewed forth, a veritable Vesuvius. I think I may have warned some folk about that somewhere. [waves hand in a disinterested manner, gesturing elsewhere...] |

rAFC here, but I wouldn't necessarily see that as a bad thing. Tastes differ and there are numerous gorgeous women out there who, due to a variety of reasons, I have absolutely no interest in. Some women don't give me the right 'vibes', some are too childish, some are just plain boring. Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. If you like an hb7 more then her hb10 friend then go for the hb7... Just calibrate your game properly and that's that. |

Yeah, there's been a lot of discussion over the past month, about what exactly constitutes a 10, or any number. We basically agreed to disagree. L.A. Tripp gave a girl that I think is a 10, a 7, but that is also partly because I know her attitude and its very sexy. I still would rate her an 8 if I were going just based on looks. I'm not a fan of bleached blondes with boob jobs, so a lot of girls that guys call 10's, that fit that description, aren't of any interest to me. I've got a thing for the "average girl" look, not the supermodel look, so the girls that most guys call a 7 or 8, I'd call a 9 or 10. |

BadKarma, the whole idea behind that particular rating system is for a simple reason. If the girl thinks she's "all that" then negs help to bring her down a couple of notches so she doesn't look down on you. If a girl doesn't think that about herself, you don't need the negs. Plain and simple. The numbers just give you something to go by. I'm like Rye. I hate the fake look. I much prefer natural girls. I also usually prefer brunettes, so blondes don't usually rate as high to me. The number system is just a guide. Don't let that throw you off from what the system is actually teaching you. |

Ah, so the number is system is based on a societal straw poll rather than personal tastes? I think I understand, and agree with, the system a lot more. I'm reading through MM, and that, gathered what all has been said here, Game should be practiced in every situation. I'm trying to observe things more. Thank you. |
