Can someone help me with this situation: Have been trying to get a hb8 recently but i belive i may have overused Negs,because after about an hour the girl called me an asshole unsure if this was a test or not can some one tell me how to reply to this. She still seems to be attracted to me though. |

Hey sounds like you might have gone to far. She very well may still like you though. At the time when you cross that line in the sand next time say, (sincerely) "I am completely sorry. I did not mean to step over your boundaries. I just meant to find out where they are. Know that I know where they are, I promise....I will not cross them again. I am sorry." ~ Mystery. You may still want to go back and apologize like this, IF SHE BRINGS IT UP. If not don't do the AFC thing and apologize your butt off. Because, you are right it could just be a shit test. If you do apologize do it once and that's it. Don't bring it up again. If she still interested and not upset, I would continue with the present phase and forget about it, until its brought up again. LOL! That reminds me of my early days of learning PU! I cringe with hindsight!  My negs were near insults and my C&F close to arrogance! I made one girl cry once.... oh dear! Calibration was not in my vocabulary then! |

Ok, BTW, welcome sense. Yes, you need to calibrate the negging, obviously. Honestly, there are a lot of girls that can't handle too much negging, espeically in a short span of time, just because of self-esteem issues. I've over negged girls too, many times. I don't recall getting one close to crying, as Brad says he has, but I HAVE gotten them to the point of just walking off, done with me. So, yes you need to calibrate, which just comes with practice. Unfortunately, there's not an easier way. Just throw out one here and there. And sometimes, you don't even need to neg. All depends on the girl. If the girl is not too confident in herself, not cocky, things like that, really watch the negs. They will inevitably backfire. Those girls don't have the mentality of a 9 or 10, even if they look like a 9 or 10. If the girl is throwing negs at you, by all means, fire them back. Keep your frame stronger than hers. But, if she's not throwing negs at you, not giving you shit tests, things like that, then you better back off on throwing them at her. Just work for compliance from her, more than anything, with those girls. Compliance, and make sure you're interesting and fun to her. And, of course, can't forget about the kino. |

I like LA's advice here. Calibrating is tough and is just a matter of field experience. An HB8 only needs a few negs off and on. However, a HB9 or HB10 usually needs more. Like he said some HB9's sometimes don't have the confidence in themselves you think they might, and I've over used negs on them. As an alternate example I met a HB7 that looked innocent but could run game like a 10! You never know what you have by looks alone. Watch her body language out of the corner of your eye as you "Throw and Go." Get out in the field and calibrate some more. Keep the apology in your back pocket just in case. Happy Hunting! J SMOOTH |

Explain to her you're spending all this time talking to her to try to find out what she's really like on the inside, while you have this other pressing matter you should be taking care of (say you have work), and she's just giving you all these fake answers. Say "I just want to get to know the little girl behind the pretty face, and you're making it so hard that I had to be an asshole to draw out your real personality!" It's simple, it's true (that IS the point of negging, to lower the BS, right?), and you'll effectively swap roles for a moment to allow you to recover from your HOUR LONG use of negs (holy shit!). |

Yeah, some girls that are ridiculously good looking and popular, have the mentality of a little girl and can't be negged at all without breaking them. Other girls that are 8's don't need negs cause of their personality. Still other 8's have a great sense of fun in playing the game and will neg you back and you can literally get into an hour long neg war. Good times.

haha ya excessive negging can be a problem. but sometimes it may have its advantages. if the girl is friends with girls or someone you know socials circle that might get them talking (doesnt matter if its bad or not you can change other peoples minds) "Bad press is better than no press at all." may open up some new doors. thats just me, i could be wrong. |
