how long did it take you to get a hang of this game? I want to learn, but i don't really know what to do or where to start. I'm just an average looking guy, but i see some hb9's out with some pretty beat guys and i sometimes wonder what they are doing that im not. I'm a total noob |

I almost didn`t answer to your question since I am in (semy)retirement (and you wanted mPUA`s answer Where do you start? Depends where you currently are but let`s assume you don`t know much about the Game. The best start is to build the milestone, the basics and that is you my friend. Start to work out, girls like well built guys. Good body will also help you to build alpha male mindframe. Then, asses your clothes and buy a new one if nessesery. Ask some female friend to go shopping with you. Also find some interesting hobby (not chess playing) which you can use also for DHV. Try to improve in every aspect of your "normal" life. If you are still in school, try to be as godd as possible. The greatest PUA`s are great in some other aspects of their normal life (actors, sport stars, businessmen, writers....). Success is big attractivness builder, there is no girl who will like you if you are some unambitious chump, it is strong DLV. Try to build strong social circle, be good with your buddies, be open to other people, interact with as many different as possible, don`t expect to much from first contacts with girls you meet, just try to loose social shyness by interacting with as many girls as possible. Reading some PU books can`t hurt, but don`t become internet nerd who will know everything in theory but who will freeze in field. JUST INTERACT, practise makes perfection. Also, if you know or meet somebody who has good game, spend some time sarging with him, its great to learn from the good guys on the field, fastest way. Finally, don`t take this PUA thing to serious. Maybe it sound strange, but you will have much more succes if ou focus in creating good "normal" life (job, school, sport, hoby, social circle) then letting PUA take over your life. Succes will come, youl`ll be surprised how fast! Marco |

Along with the advice already given, I strongly encourage you to find the Venusian Arts Handbook and read it. It's not the be all and end all of PU, but it's a fantastic place to start. It will really open your eyes to what's going on underneath the surface in your daily interactions. |

I'm a huge fan of Secrets of Female Sexuality, by David Shade, as a way to change how you think about running game and interacting with people. |
