I've been sick the last couple of days and haven't been able to make progress. How do you get better during downtime? Thanks |

Ha, I never go out and I #-closed a girl today. I have a strong rapport w/ her that I have built the entire semester. This one is headed for an f-close. No, No I don't believe so. I know so. Just writing that makes me kind of nervous, but, I know it will happen as long as I keep doin what I been doin. |

Yes, Study as much as you can. Style shut himself off from the world before he and Mystery made the trip to Serbia. While you are just getting started, I would say have about a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio between time studying and time sarging. Do it when ever you can. Study, field test, recalibrate, repeat. |

Work on inner game and study the theory. I don't get out a lot either, but I work on my inner game and the theory behind why stuff works, while reading all the stuff people post on here and then it gets in your blood. When you do finally get back out there, then you don't have to think so hard, it just happens. |

For me, school has been keeping me INSANELY busy, and I find I use this forum and the ebooks and material Ive got to just study. Lately my game has been centered around parties and casual meet ups/day 2's, but when I do go out or go to a party, I find the things I've studied are just as Rye Lee put it: It gets in your blood Don't worry too much about it, just study up and apply it as best you can when you do get a chance to go out. I'm actually REALLY excited because tonight...I went to coffee with a good buddy of mine who has read the game, and has been interested but didn't know how far down the rabbit hole goes. Needless to say we're gonna have a few more meetups like that before we start winging eachother and sarging together. So I'll find a lot more time for night game! Awesome. ~Muse |

Yes, during downtown, whether it's for sickness or some other reason, the NUMBER ONE THING YOU CAN DO IS . . . . STUDY. As the others have said, it gets in your blood. You study it enough and it's just "there" when you're out in the field. Where at one point you would have stood, frozen, your mind blank, suddenly a thought pops up in their and you're like "oh", and you let it come out of your mouth. It will help your game tremendously. Oh, and I wouln'd put a "ratio" on it. Just study as much as you can when you're not out, so that when you are out, you WILL benefit from it. And, practice regardless of where you are . . . school, shopping, work (be careful, but you can do it there on MOST jobs), just out, paying bills, whatever. |
