Post subject:  Newbie overcoming AFC-ness and needing help with a LJBF

Hey everyone....I'm just getting started reading all the info on pua's. I read the game and some of the other stuff out there and have been doing active searches in the forums. Anyways, I have been reunited with a girl I knew socially a few years ago and now we work together. When I first met her I had a gf and didn't show much interest. Now I think I developed one-itis. I used some of the material to overcome my ACF-ness and didn't show her much attention and got some good results but cant close the deal. The other day I told her I liked her more as a friend and she gave me the "im not saying no, just not right now" and the "once a girl thinks of a guy as a friend its hard to change her mind" speech. I get a lot of kino and have done the ignore and cocky funny standard bs I read about but I am still getting mixed signals. I think I need to be more aggressive but don't want her to feel uncomfortable around our mutual friends. I also can't get her to go out without brining any of our mutual friends along (obviously on purpose)

Thanks in advance.

Wow, this a slippery slope that you are on. Since now that you work together this could be tough. I am definately not going to tell you to back off, but I would definately think of moving on. If she's in the LJBF mode, which she sounds like she's stuck in I would move on. There are plenty of more Hot Babes out there and only 28,000 more days to live! Besides, if you are the one going out maybe she'll get jealous and then again maybe not. I'm sure she's a great girl but move on, beauty is common!

Yeah, your only real solution to this IS to move on. Moving on may POSSIBLY make her jealous, but then again, she knows you've been with other previously, and that hasn't seemed to affect her feelings toward you, so at this point, I'd say you're pretty much stuck in the LJBF zone on this one.

What I would do with her is CEMENT the LJBF zone with her use her as a pivot.

so i had her set me up with one of her friends and now she is telling me how the other girl isnt right for me and i need someone more like her...we'll see what happens...in the mean time I'll take advantage of the social proof and her single friends when we go out.

LJBF is a horrible feeling, so dont let it happen. Once youve crossed that line, its almost not worth the time to bring it back over. Once a girl gets you in that mode, many times guys will let the girls walk all over them, do the girls needless favors, listen to stories about how guys treat them like crap and yada yada. Who cares about that. Thats called the opposite of DHV. At times like these, its best to not let one-itis take over, and cut your losses. You have tons of material on this forum to use, so read up and use it.

Women are horribly jelious and curious creatures... with the proper understanding of those to things it makes your life X1000 easier...

On another note... I saw you introduced yourself in the Intro area... Where in Az do you live?

I understand where you're coming from, I have the same problem and the advice that everyone told me is to use her as a pivot.

Tell her this, explain to her what a pivot is and then see if she agrees, if she does then cool but if she says something like well I like you, then tell her that you do too and you will like to see her like not just friends and see how she reacts, good luck.
