Post subject:  Training Regiment
My question is about how to hone your skills as a pick up artist. I'm a newbie so any info or advice would be appreciated.

I think that one has to overcome his social shyness.

So maybe he should just start off with going to random ppl at a random place and saying a random, illogical question like "Excuse me, but what's your favorite bowling ball flavor?"

Something like that just so that the guy experiences shame and rejection but at the same time conditions himself to approach any girl, with whatever friends, and be able to say anything. Even that retarded question.

Basically I want to know where to start making that dividing line between theory and practice. Where do I practice? With whom? When? Are there steps? Help?

Are you referring to yourself as 'the one'? :-)

Go out and introduce yourself to everyone.

"Hi my name is XXXX, what is your name."
"It was pleasure meeting you."

Do this over, and over, and over, and over. Do not deviate from it for the entire day. Shot for doing it 50 times. Keep count.

Next time, use an opener. Any opener (Your bowling ball example would work)

After you get the answer, walk away. Do not try to do more than this because it will make you nervous.

Do this enough and you will be able to walk up to anyone and talk to them.
