| Post subject: | Transitioning |
Now that I had an OK(in my opinion) FR, I feel really inspired to be better now. And I found new sticking points to my game. First I had problems with Kino, opening, and the anxieties that came with it. Now that I can actually open, I have problem with transitioning to routines, DHVs, and other stuff... so any helpful ways to transition? Well I would transition to a DHV, or a routine, but it wouldn't interest them. |

Some people (like Juggler) claim that there is no need to transition between routines, that you can constantly just break out routine after routine with no kind of link between them. The benefit of this kind of approach is - when done properly, with the right amount of confidence etc - is that you are holding court, you are leading the conversation in your direction. You probably shouldn't get to the stage where you're talking over people to get to your next routine/topic (unless your AMOGing or playing hardball negs/C&F) but by constantly leading the conversation in different directions etc, you're putting yourself at the centre of the set. If this doesn't fit into your style of game or whatever, then you should work on your personal routines more. Have set routines with set transitions between them. For example, earlier I posted up a really basic CR that can be done in a matter of seconds and works well to hook interest if they're into that kind of thing (and what girl doesn't like chick-crack?). From that routine, you can easily bust into another CR/ESP routine. Just say something like; "You guys liked that huh? How about this...[break out the Number Game, The Cube, Palm Reading, bla bla bla] This is also a great way to isolate, if the set likes what you're doing and asks for more, you can try and isolate your target by saying something like ''okay, I can show you something even more powerful if you like, but I can only do it one on one, (to group now), you guys don't mind if we leave for a bit do you?" Hope some of that is helpful to you, I had similar problems 3 nights ago, but after doing some research, working on some new routines, i was able to go out sargin on Friday and Saturday night and get past those problems |

Transitioning isn't that hard, imho you don't need a smooth transition. Just stack your routines and use them. What I and a lot of ppl used to have is lack of DHV stories and other A2 material, so work on that first. Once you have that, just use them in field. An example of my routine stack: [opener, neg, ftc] [body rock, "Oh btw, how do you know each other"] [dhv story, got hit by gay guy] [routine, can be anything like strawberry fields, rings, cube, 5 questions etc] [dhv story, europe traveling] [A3, "more than looks"] Very simple stack and once you get used to it (in other words, you get tired of using it!) just use some other material. Make sure you kino while DHV-ing |
