Hi Guys, This is a problem I run into often in the Phone phase of Online game, and sometimes on D2's. Essentially conversation. Alot of times, I will have to lead the conversation (which is fine), but I often find myself talking way more than the girl does, and there have been a few situations where I seem to end up LJBF'd because I end up talking so much the girl doesn't feel as connected as she should. Anyways, SOME girls it just naturally happens, they talk lots, invest lots, and it's not an issue... But I would like to be able to get it to the point where I have a game plan, and know how to lead the less open ones into telling me more about themselves then I am about myself. I have a few ideas where the problem may lie: 1. I feel the need to avoid awkward silence, so I usually seed the conversation with a related thread when this occurs. The goal here would be to prevent it from happening in the first place, so building enough rapport earlier that she will do that job for me... this just doesn't seem to occur. 2. I know alot of random stuff... so my ADD brain may be feeling the need to add all the knowledge I have into the current thread. If this is the issue, I need to know how to convey that I am knowledgable without coming across as "tips" or "professor". 3. A problem with locating the topics that the girl would be like me with the knowledge about, and ideas on how to naturally come across these? Alot of times too, I want to talk longer than I maybe should. Is it worth seriously setting a time limit on phone calls, even if we're having a good conversation? at least until F-close? |

Hey Infernvs, My friend has the same problem he's a book full of knowledge with a mouth like hes on crack. Anyways my advice is to just shut up. Learn to ask more questions, and not "yes" or "no" questions but get a better connection. The more a girls talking usually means the better the connection is. Learn to take turns when talking and to hold your tongue. Girls love talking about themselves so ask them, it'll make for easier connections. I personally set a time limit on my calls and try to leave before they want me to. Makes easier for booking dates because they're usually dying to see me. Hope this helps man.
