If you are just seeing a girl and you are not in an exclusive relationship, have known her for at least a couple weeks and have gone on a few dates....

How should you respond when she says she is feeling sick, is having a bad day, has a problem, etc? It could be anything from not feeling well because she didn't sleep well or she needs to move something or is low on cash.

I'm not sure if I am responding correctly, but here are some examples.

Today she text she is having a bad day. She took like 3 hours to respond to my text. So I waited 20 min, trying to think of what I should say. I just said "I'm sorry" She text back like 30 min later "thanks:)"

She needed to move some boxes to a new place a couple miles away. I offered to help because her car is small and I have a SUV. I had only known her for a couple weeks. I guess that was a little much, but she is new in town. She said thanks and got me dinner.

She had 3 bookshelves that needed assembling. I put them together for her, which took a couple hours. She said thanks.

She is a student and has to scrape together money for rent by selling some stuff on Ebay. I haven't offered any help with this, but just listen.

So considering that we are not exclusive, do you think any of this is hurting me? Some of it seems like stuff you would do if you were in a relationship. The only thing that I don't like is that it gets in the way of more traditional dates. So I'm going to make a point of just having more fun time.

If you don't want to get banned, send me a PM with an explanation of:

1. Why you ignored the "READ BEFORE POSTING" announcements.

2. What I can do to get people like you to read the "READ BEFORE POSTING" announcements before posting threads here in the Sticking Points board (add a few more announcements?).

3. Or, if you actually HAVE read that announcement, it's obvious that you didn't understand something about it. If that is the case, how can I reword the announcement so that you would understand it?
