Primarily Inattentive: Lazy, Daydreaming, Tuning Out, Spacey, Bored, Unmotivated, Procrastinating, Unconfident. While children may indeed exhibit these states without the presence of DHD mental health, the inattentiveness brought about by the disorder is often improperly described by these terms and can lead to mislabeling, along with the child missing out on the opportunity for help. |
