Okay. I'm pretty successful with the ladies. I'm a natural and I haven't had much time to practice PUA since I was in a LTR when I started this but I've brought the occasional woman home. But I've two housemates and we're all great friends... Friend 1 is in a LTR and I know this guy is getting sex every night. His GF is soon heading to the States for the year so they have spend all their remaining time together. Friend 1 is in love and they will stay together for the year she's away. They're just making the most of what time they have. And they're understandably getting lots and lots of sex in. Friend 2 thinks he's in with a chance with this girl. He has known her for a year and she's always in our house. They used to always sit with me (and my GF, when she was about, and Friend 1 +1) and we'd do stuff together. Friend 2 would buy her dinner and tickets to concerts etc. and they'd go out but he'd never get anywhere. 9 months into the relationship and they still hadn't kissed but he's crazy about her. He hasn't let her know his feelings and is firmly in the LJBF category. I've explained this to him but he doesn't want to hear. Since Friend 1 has started locking himself away with the GF, Friend 2 has decided that's what he wants to go too. So Friend 2 and the friend sit watching TV or playing videogames all the time. They only leave for food or to walk her to the bus. Friend 2 tells me that he has nailed her several times using this tactic. But yesterday, I was eating dinner with Friend 2 and his girl and when I mentioned I was going out on the rebound she says to me that she wants to go on the pull too. I didn't ask her about Friend 2 (because he was there for all this and his expression told me all). We went out and she actively opened a lot of guys in front of us. I ended up opening a set and including Friend 2 just so he wouldn't appear so pathetic. Think of it as me being lonely or bitter but I want to shake this Friend 2 for wasting his time with her and for leaving me hanging. He STILL runs after the girl despite us all knowing he hasn't a hope. His case of 1-itis is depressing. The girl does not want him as a boyfriend but he still hopes acting like a chump will work. How can I help him? Can I help him? Is it my place to get any further involved? I don't want to see a good friend suffer. - Bandit P.S. He was in the same position a couple of years. He finally got the message when she got a BF who ddn't appreciate him sniffing around so she cut all strings with Friend 2. It broke Friend 2's heart. He should know better. |
