Does anyone have any tips on how to handle a negative for a date? Would playing it cool as in "i cant go out on thursday because i have to wake up early on friday"and responding "ok great! ill pick you up on thursday at 6pm" work? Or should i just ignore the rejection and not talk to her for a few days? Or push for another date a few days later? |

Ignore! tbh, it depends on the type of person you are, whether you are confident/funny enough to get away with it. But it could be risky. You don't want to sound like a stalker and persist if she says no. |

So far thats what im doing, but im thinking in sending her a text tomorrow saying "cool. ill pick you up at 6, dont worry we'll be back by midnight". my style is a bit more cocky/playful ... do you think that would be a big fail? also, how soon should i push for another date? wait a week? is there a time rule for that, like calling 2-3 days later after meeting a girl? thanks in advance. |

It could be a big fail.. but you will never know unless you take these kind of risks. You seem as if you could pull it off. If it doesn't work? Who cares, you just blew it with one girl out of thousands! I would say have one date every week. Ring her the 3rd day and say you are quite busy but are free on the 7th day. Being 'rare/busy/unavailable' boosts your value, makes you seem more important. |
