This is my first post, I bet some experienced people on here can give me some advice on this. I have seen some PUA material before, but I haven't every tried to memorize routines or practice them in bars/clubs. I consider my skills in initially approaching women pretty average. I am better at it than some of my friends. I know that things like negs and not initially hitting on her are effective. When in a confident mood, it's occasionally possible for me to pick girls up at places like coffee shops, libraries, and stores. However, when it comes to phone game, it all falls apart. Girls will often get bored after a few phone calls. I usually don't put much thought into when I call, but it's usually 2-3 days after I get the number, and I usually wait 2-3 days between each successive call. It's often hard for me to think of things to say since I don't know the girl very well. I usually offer a lame overdone date, like, let's go see a movie. But they often either say they are busy outright or bail later. I am currently in this phase with a girl who is busy with multiple jobs. How do I keep her interested when she barely has time for herself, let alone a guy? I also recently got the number of a girl who has a boyfriend. I am not going to pursue anything with her however I would like to develop a friendship with her. In these two cases there are real reasons (or at least, excuses) why they can't hang out with me. But this is not always the case. Continuing things after getting the number has been a persistent problem for me. Advice? |

Hey dude i couldnt help notice your post and help you out here. First of all lets forget about this 3 day rule myth going on here. The longer you leave to call / text a girl you push yourself out of the comfort zone and shes forgotten about you. This is my rule [u]Follow Up Game[/u] Day game: Get the number in the day (try to always 'nickname number close' her ill tell you why later), you drop a text that evening. Now the best time to call is between 10:30 - 11:30 pm let me explain why. Girls normally finish their day job about six, they get home/have dinner about 7-8, then from 8-9 they will be watching their soaps/doing coursework etc. 9-10 they might phone some friends to gossip, and from 10-11 they they're just surfing the net maybe reading a magazine in bed killing some time. So the best time to call is that 10:30 - 11 bracket. The model should look like this: Phone call one Hey listen i cant talk long (false time constraint) But it was totally random talking to you ealrier, Omg i cant beleive we dont know eachother at all ! OK im going to tell you three RANDOM things then your going to tell me three RANDOM things. (frame control) I LOVE MOCHA'S, TRAVELLED AROUND EUROPE LAST YEAR, I MEET ALOT OF PEOPLE IN MY JOB, (so what you've done here you've took a hold of this frame with quite high calibre hooks for her to want to know more about and relate too and seed more conversation off, now rather than her starting off and she may say : uhm.." my name is Katie, i have a dog and my fav colour is pink" you not getting much out of her but as you've set the frame you've already got her interested because she is now thinking about your hooks and what she is going to say (investing).) now she will give you some good hooks to talk about and it will nearly be impossible to run out of conversation. IMPORTANT ! - AT THE HEIGHT OF THE CONVERSATION : throw in that false time constraing again ( hey listen, iv got to go, ill call you tmo if im free) What you've done here is youve ended the call on a high wrapped in positive energy, do not let the conversation reach a lul and then get off the phone this is really bad and shows that you've ran out of conversation. NOTE - do not initiate a day 2 this is what the third call is about.. you are leaving her wandering "Why hasnt this dude asked me out yet?" remember your not that handfull of guys your the pro. Phone call two Now this one can be similar to the last one eg. Time constraint, something amazing that happened at work today. you never told me what you wanted to be when you was 7. Height of phone call banta you throw in that time constraint once again and you come across as that exciting mysterious man that doesnt give too much away. Tell her you'll call her later on in the week some time. Phone call three Same model as the last two except with this one. This is your day 2 call, normally in the day around lunchtime i will text the girl something like do you like X actors name. for arguments sake lets say ..leonardo dicaprio. She's go i love him bla bla bla . Say what do you like about. she goes bla bla bla. Say you'll call her later Call her that night an talk about Leonardo Dicapio's films, she will go on about how great x film is and how its her favourite etc. Now cut that thread move on to somthing else. Then cut that current thread with a time constraint saying you got to go, but you we should both totally go see Leonardo's new film together make a joke of itlike you should tunp up with tshirts with his face on as your his number 1 fans etc. Dont ask her when she's free tell her your free on a wednesday an its going to have to ba a late show as your busy in the early eve. (frame control). Now she is sure to accept even if she had plans she'll cancel them. Because your the mysterious man thats been on her mind all week that she has to find out more about. I could write a whole book just on follow up game itself, so any more information let me know. |

I think your ideas probably work, however I just screwed it up with a particular girl (oh well). I tried to set a subtle sexual frame on the phone just by joking around and I lost that target after a couple days of that. My assumption is that she is looking for a more serious relationship and therefore I probably shouldn't be talking to her anyway. Anyway, I don't think you ever explained the "nickname number close." Another question: How do you deal with a girl who continues talking to you on the phone but flakes on dates? |

Alright, this is still a major weak point for me. I am just starting to get to the point where I can get a good amount of numbers (got 4 over 3 days of sarging this week), but my interactions have been pretty simple, mostly shooting the shit, I'll compliment them sometimes, use FTCs and all. Most of my luck has been when being more natural and using direct game, such as "hey, that's really cute shirt. it really accentuates your femininity" instead of using canned openers. I called all 2 of them, no answer. Chicks seem to respond to my texts more than calls. Here's my first question: Could this be because of not making a big enough connection before getting the number? Second question: If she doesn't answer the first time I call, should I.... Stick to texting? Call back the next day? Wait a few days? Forget her because there's more women outside? |
