my car is a big clit-killer. shortys be up in the club, diggin my flava, and then i get them out to the ride to take them home, sometimes they run away! it's a green volkswagon beetle, like vintage. my dad fixed it up in the 80s but shit is just burnt. i work as a cook, i take mechanic school at night, im trying to fix it but it's $$$. How can i play it? i try to gloss it over, say 'it's wheels honey, it runs, it's got charcter' none of this works. i get girls, but most time i am more successful when i vist my homies at college & we just go back to the dorms, or we hook up at partys. WHAT DO I DO?? |

I've not tried any of these lines so take it with a grain of salt. Make the car your opener. Point is you start talking about it sooner in the night and not when you get out too it. Lie say it's your friends, yours is in the shop. Link it to her somehow. "Don't you hate when your cars in the shop, I'd do it myself but I don't have the time. Yeah I have a mustang, my best friends grandfather gave it to me." I remember I did this when I was in a play and I needed to keep a beard. "Check out this epic beard. Yeah I'm in a play. Just grew it yesterday." Guy's that look dumbie need to spend more time explaining or briefing the girl on the reasons the look the way that do. With good lines. This is why it's good to dress nice. Less talking. If none of this works. But it would be sad if a car stopped your game. Take the car out of the equation. Bus, Taxi, walk. |

I'm gonna fix it up. I should have enough money and expertize to have it awesome by the end of the summer. and tbqh most of the time the girls care but not enough to blow it all up, only a couple times. You're right i need to not let is torpedo my confidence becaus ethey probably are most reacting to my attitude. |

If your car is such a big part of your game... Maybe you should leave it out of it... I solved the problem by not owning a car. I do well without one. |

Why not warn them of the car early on, after all it is your college ride. Tell them straight up, make fun of it. If you need to show value through a car you should probably lay back and learn how to get her mind off of anything but you. Excuses: You can't bare getting rid of it, you had so many great moments. It is easy to convince a girl if she doesn't care about the car. Most of how I get a girl attracted is not based on my car or my job title. Those things aren't brought up, as far as I am concerned that is privileged information. That said when I had a garbage ride, I let people know, laughed at, spoke of it's Character, etc. Part of being charismatic is showing humility. There is so much information on DV and Negging, a lot of people don't realize that it is just fun to be playful. A charismatic person is someone who makes everyone around feel good. Everyone smile, laugh, have a good time, someone who doesn't intimidate. If you make it so the girl genuinely likes you which is very easy using all the techniques out there a car won't make a lick of difference. I am a big fan of showing humility, if you can show that you are a "person" than most people will enjoy your company. Acting better through negging and DV is not at all useful, if you made it seem as if you are some rich guy or they can get something from you. If you just be honest, and honesty is key in a lot of cases, just put a comical spin on it. I don't understand how a ugly car can even scare away a girl personally unless you never built a solid attraction. |

feature it! make fun of it! it's amphibian, it floats on water, it's remote controlled, well trained and respond to your command, it doesn't use gasoline, it runs on charcoal or it runs on girls pee. have you seen the movie 'herbie the bug' year '70? if not, ask your dad or grandpa tell some stories about it. girls might find it interesting too if you relate about that movie. no big deal man! there's more powerful than cars and won't cost you a dime.... it's your mindset |

this could be turned into a very positive spin. BUT. First off, you dont really want the girls that ARE impressed by your car. Its shallow, and in the end you probly wont want that type of girl. BUT. I have gotten girls heads to turn and say "you know about cars?" with crazy intrigue. I have a story about how my dad was a mechanic and past the car down to me, how I got books on it and fixed and rebuilt the car myself. I feel that if you are embarrassed about the car, she will pick up on it. If you embrace it, that shows a stronger character. I would be like "he'll yea its a beatle, did you know those were one of the first boxer engines ever made?....and they were also one of the first completely air cooled motors? Im not sure if the first one was true but you get the idea. Girls love things guys are passionate about. So chances are if you love it she will love it. Just and idea. Ive had girls drool over my stories and I only have an old camaro |
