Post subject:  Moving From Attraction/Hooking Up to a Relationship

Hello,

I am a twenty year old in college and have been reading about/studying/practicing the game for just under three years now. I have come a long way, and truly think it has enriched my life. I had no clue what I was doing with women in high school, but in college I have been tremendously successful in my own opinion. I am not exactly the second coming of Casanova, but i get girls pretty much every weekend and am happy with where I am at in that sense. Although I am not saying my game is perfect, I no longer have any huge trouble attracting girls or getting laid.

That said, I have one MAJOR sticking point. I am atrociously bad at moving from hooking up to the next stage, a relationship. It is something I really do want to experience, and I am posting this because I am more or less on the cusp of moving on to that next step. Whereas I usually have no real emotional attachment and can make objective decisions about game, whenever I start to move from casual to something more serious as I am doing now I turn into an emotional chump.

I have this constant urge to be texting/communicating with the girl, and I am not sure how I should be handling it. On one hand it is not bad to be in more frequent communication, because she is clearly receptive and the relationship appears to be moving in the right direction. I suppose my concern is that I am already too attached and invested in a situation which is not even a committed relationship yet, and I really do not want to screw it up. Whereas my college party/bar kid game is air tight, my being a grown up relationship game is nowhere to be found. Any thoughts? Comments? Advice? There isn't really a succinct question in there, but any help would be awesome.
