Okay, to start off, I am a high school senior. I lurked here for a long time and never really posted since i have little experience. At lunch, i chill with this HB10, who i used to be close with a few years ago but didn't really talk to the past 2 or 3 years. By chill i mean just me and this one other guy sitting with her and a few girls around a table chatting and sometimes doing homework. Anyways, most of the people in my school are going to dominican for vocation. But she is not going, neither am i. How do i get her to chill with me this break? I have no problem talking to her but i always run out of things to say. How do I lead the conversation topic towards March Break? I have her msn but not her phone. Any advice? BTW, i only see her at lunch. When i talk to her, i notice that she is interested but gets bored easily. |

Make her laugh and have fun. This will increase your chances of her wanting to hang out with you. If you two were close a few years ago, you might want to try and work that in. Try to bring up positive memories. If you're having trouble with things to say, try to think of questions that will get her to talk. Ask her about something she is interested in and get her to talk or better yet, teach you about it. Look her in the eyes while talking. If you are going to compliment her, be specific. If you notice she is getting bored or distracted, point it out. Use C/F. "You know, I don't let just anyone sit with me." This will work better if you've already gotten her comfortable and laughing. |
