ive been needing help for this for the longest i currently been working on state control and i noticed that i have an major insecurity i need 2 work on which is my fear of being talked about and laughed at by others i hate it so much that sometimes i am antisocial and its ruining me it seems like i cant fully be myself in a group or social circle because of this one fear its driving me nutts please anyone give me your view on this and advice as soon as possible dont read without replying |

Just say to yourself nobody cares. When you go home do you remember the person in the corner who said something out loud? No... nobody remembers stuff long term like that. Just repeat to yourself: "everyone will forget what comes out of your mouth before it comes out of your mouth". If they laugh, it is a good thing; they aren't laughing at you, they are laughing at your wit. This is a good thing, a form of praise. Even if they are laughing at you, just smile and go along with it. If you let it get to you people will attempt to get a reaction out of u for fun. Don't be played, be the player. Try memorizing at least one joke every day from the internet and telling it to 20 different people. As you repeat it more and more, you will notice you tell it better and you are more comfortable and natural. |
