Get a familiarity point. Something you both enjoy or shared at the time. Like sport or that drunk guy. Do this in a non-needy manner.

Text her within 48 hours, so she does not forget you or think why was I attracted to that guy in the first place.

Hope this helps.

Recently got over this 'hump'

1. Definitely text or call soon, whichever you prefer
2. If texting, which I do almost exclusively, keep it flirty, fun and don't worry about having a serious conversation. Just say cute $hit, banter, C&F and basically bull$hit
3. Go for the date pretty early on, and don't ask, say 'I'm hanging out with you this week/weekend/this day etc'
4. Don't schedule a first date/day2 further ahead than the day after tomorrow if possible. Too much time to flake
5. Make it easy for her, meet her somewhere close to her work or home or AT her work if she works at a bar or something like that.
6. If you must have multiple txt convo's before you meet up due to logistics, keep it fun, flirty, sexy, cute, clever and so on. Change the subject often. Serious conversations are not necessary and txt is not great for comfort. End it first if you can.
7. Early on in a txt convo, try to give her 2 things to respond to in each txt to ensure a response. For example, "Hey sexy I hope you bla bla bla blah, oh yeah, blah blah bla blah". Helps keep things going.
8. remember, get the friggin date, you're not pen pals...Actually, at some point, tell her you can't be 'pen pals' anymore b/c she's a slow texter or whatever.
9. Keep your 'frame'. If she says something that sounds negative, ignore it, continue on as if it didn't happen or 're-interpret' it as if she's testing or hitting on you. This applies in person also

I don't talk to chicks on the phone b/c I don't talk to ANYONE on the phone usually but many believe it's better. I hate the f'ing phone with a passion but if your'e cool with it, then do it, but keep it short.
