Post subject:  Preference in Weakness

It’s Christmas:
"Happy Christmas to all the amazing guys dedicated to making themselves and their lives better."

I am quoting myself, and am not sure why... (Cough’s).

Preference in Weakness.

Preference in Weakness: This is a concept I have been reading on and developing for a long time now, and it has enabled me to become both reliable and dynamic with communication.

The premise, the human race is designed to play to its strengths, it is designed to get hone a particular skill and become that skill.

The example I give to you is the Liverpool FC Striker Fernando Torres: A man who has developed a skill worked on a skill/ability which in turn has resulted in value, status and massive social proof.
This means that due to his work he has became a rather big deal, apparently he owns "Many leather bound books."

This is a successful way, just as in tribal days in which if you had a firm place in the tribe i.e. witch doctor, who people relied on, you would be high value and successful in whatever field you applied yourself.

Now relating this back to communication, I see may PUA's?/communicators and teach a lot of guys who have certain aspects of who they are and their 'game' developed and entrenched into themselves. Isn't that a good thing?
Answer: yes and no.

Its fantastic in a really high octane environment some PUA's/comunicators flourish, and some are fantastic at day game, or some revel in the direct nature of their sets.

However Fernando Torres and his striking abilities may far out way Zidane's attacking, but Zidane's quality and understanding of ALL aspects will always shine through.

So Anchorman and Football analogies aside, do you believe that you are aiming towards your strengths, or are you CHOOSING you preference your weakness.

Yours ...
Kristophe
