First you need to know WHICH eye you are staring at.

A stare in the right eye reminds people of good things whereas the left eyes reminds people of the more tramatic things in life (at least that is what I read somewhere).

So maybe you are trying to stare at girls left eyes and not the right eye? You need to know this.

Also, read the book 'Frogs into Princes' a NLP book. It talks about how to read people through their eyes, whether they are lying or not and what certain eye directions mean and of course body language. I bet you can find your problem there and then you can start working on improving yourself.

Like someone said before, the eye stare is one of the most potent tools a PUA has. It works in many aspects of life. From picking up girls, relationships, job interviews, etc. Ironically, this is even true in the animal world. For example, if you want to make sure a dog knows you are alpha over them, do the stare test (only if you know the dog won't bite you) which can last as long as 5 minutes. Once the dog breaks the stare, it will display subordination towards you and it will recognize you as the alpha.

So with that you need let the other person break the stare and not you. This shows dominance and confidence in you and will make you a more attractive person.

If you don't get over this you will be viewed as submissive.

The mirror trick helps but you need to understand pschologically why you become a submissive person in the first place. Once you understand the why you have a better direction on how to fix the problem.

what can i do about this? i have a problem with staring at people and when they look at me i turn my head or look down quickly how can i fix that

you can try looking at their eyebrows if it becomes uncomtorable, it looks to them like you're still looking at them in the eye

I used to have a similar problem but what really helped me was when i started going to interviews for a job. When your siting one on one with someone answering questions trying to project confidence and value you simply half to lock eyes with them. Like everything else in the game you get better with experience. Another tip would be to play lots of beer pong preferably with girls and use a fierce, piercing gaze on them anytime they are trying to aim. Follow their eyes the whole time, kneel down when they look down at the cups so they can't help but see you staring at them with their peripheral vision. Its great defense for the game, practice for yourself, and will definitely have the girl notice you.

First of all the conversation should be good enough that you aren't thinking of this... So if that part is true then she won't know or think about what eye you are staring into..................................................... That is retarded unless she is a huge AIR HEAD. Why would someone possibly thinking about which eye you are looking into while trying to have a conversation with them. That is utterly dumb. Just stare at her eyes what's the big fucking deal? Looking in the mirror will definitely help, it may feel new to you to look at her in the eyes so u might feel like you're acting weird but you are actually acting weird if you can't look at her in the eyes.... It's ok to not stare at someone in the eyes the whole fucking conversation you can look away it's alright just make sure you have some eye contact... if you are interested in having a conversation you will naturally have eye contact. Just like talking to someone about video games if you like video game. I'm sure you don't realize it but you are making eye contact cause you are both interested.

Spread Love -Ders I am not educated on the feelings being provoked subconsciously by looking at either eye. I've heard your left eye is the gateway to the soul. That's about it. But if there are positive undertones that can be achieved through subtle body language, which is MOST of your comunication, then you should absolutely practice these techniques until they become natural to you. On that note, if you think that purposely using these subtle techniques is dumb, you may want some counseling with your ego. You shouldn't need to put people down for trying to help others. Rather, you should investigate this knowledge and see what it can bring you. Thinking it is dumb is the ego's way of protecting yourself from failure. If you never try you can never find out it doesn't work. If you can separate yourself from your ego, you will realize that you cannot ever learn anything new if you don't try it.

Ok.. whatever sorry AFC cool. Anyways.. after reading this post about eye contact I was at a party last night talking to some girls and I kept thinknig while looking at her... oh making eye contact. It is weird to think about what your doing so make it look more natural and dont think about it. just a personal note.
